Every year millions of people line up to get the new Apple iPhone, and this year was no different. In fact, the new iPhone 6s and 6s plus have broken record sales. Apple has sold more than 13 million devices during its first-weekend sales, which is a new company record.
Since so many people are running out to buy the new iPhone, you may be wondering what’s so great about it. With every new iPhone that Apple creates, we are always impressed with the new and exciting features it has to offer. This year, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are offering us new features we haven’t yet seen, which provide us with a glimpse of where our future technology is heading.
If you don’t think the new iPhone would be beneficial to you, just wait until you hear about the new features. I found three essential new features that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have to offer.
1. The first and biggest new feature is the 3D Touch. This is new pressure-sensitive software, which allows you to view different details on your iPhone screen, providing you with more dimensions and accessibility to your devise. 3D Touch also introduces a way to view your display screen through different levels of detail by a feature called Peek and Pop. The 3D Touch is designed to help individuals multitask on their iPhones and make their everyday uses like sending a text message, email, or Snapchat more efficient.
2. Another main benefit to the new iPhone is the updates and improvements of Siri. Although we are familiar with Siri, we are not familiar with the new benefits that Siri offers with the new iPhone and iOS 9 update. Now we can rely on Siri to send a text message, look up the weather, or play a song on iTunes for us, and it is much easier than before. Siri also provides suggestions on our searches throughout the device based on our history. This is new software that doesn’t just answer to our needs, but it forecasts our needs. We are beginning to see technology that adapts and caters to our individual habits and personalities through Siri.
3. Live Photo is another big featured offered with the new iPhone. The camera on every iPhone is always an improvement, but with this iPhone we not only have a better quality camera, but also a new photo feature. Live Photo essentially brings your photos to life by capturing a picture and short video at the same time. The camera records a 1.5 second video before and after the static photo to create the Live Photo. This feature is great for capturing candid and real-life moments.
Just like every other new iPhone launch, we believe that this iPhone is by far the best one yet. There is no doubt that the new features in the iPhone are innovative and desirable. Apple will continue to be successful from their ability to create devices and technology that customers don’t realize they need, until they have it. Instead of answering to consumers needs, Apple creates the need for the consumers. Pretty soon, every individual is going to realize they need the new technology that is offered with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
