Connect With Your Customers Don’t Just Sell to Them!

It’s no secret that digital storytelling is growing, more companies are finding their voice on social media and communicating better with their customer base. Look at infomercials, for example, and ignore the bad acting for just a minute.  They do a really good job of showing practical uses of their products. They show scenarios of real life application that the customer might not have thought of before watching the infomercial.

Companies have the ability to take the same approach (without the bad acting) and apply it to their social/content strategy. Relate to your customers, tell them how your product fits their needs in a meaningful way. Be an expert, be relatable, be a human but most of all offer a relationship that is more than just “buy this and buy that”, offer a partnership that is mutually beneficial.
